If you deliberately plan on being less than you are capable of being, then I warn you that you'll be unhappy for the rest of your life." -- Abraham Maslow
To-do, shopping, you know... lists. Or for that matter, notes of things you don't want to forget. We all have them, use them... don't we? Well for those of you that do, and subsequently have a computer and printer, I recently stumbled on to a unique twist on this.
They're all passing. The greats of my generation anyway. I always knew this day would come. This morning we wake up to the sad news that comedic legend George Carlin died yesterday. It really comes as no great surprise since we've all known he's had serious heart problems for years (decades?) now. But surprise or not, it's not something you're eager to see happen. George WAS the cutting edge of raunchy comedy that inspired a legion of followers. He always called it like he saw it, and the way he saw things was just so damned funny! Thanks George for all of those hard belly laughs. You made life a little more bearable.
Wow! Take a look at this! What an amazing photo. Standing in front of this monster had to be totally breathtaking! I only wish I had been there taking one of my own :) I clearly live in the wrong part of the country.
